Hi, I’m Kirsten (K-ear-sten)

I work with people who have been holding it together for a long time but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected underneath.

Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, complex trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and questions around identity and self-worth. I especially support neurodivergent and LGBTQ2IA + folks, including those diagnosed later in life.

In our work together, we slow things down and make space for what hasn’t felt safe to feel.

Instead of pushing it away, we get curious about it. Anger and irritation often carry important information, and when it’s acknowledged, it can open the door to grief, clarity, and change.

My approach is psychodynamic, trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic. I don’t rush the process. We move at your pace, staying grounded in what feels manageable for your nervous system.

Together we will establish your north star goals, we will become self archaeologists and we will begin to build the relational scaffolding to start your journey.

What working together feels like

My approach is relational, direct and kind. We don’t pathologize you. Every adaption has a purpose. We get curious. We look at the strategies that once kept you safe, like people pleasing, disappearing, hyper-independence, or constantly scanning, and COMPassionately explore what they’re protecting.

No fixing you. No rushing you. No forced positivity.

Just real conversations, nervous system awareness, and space to be yourself without editing.

Healing happens in a safe connection. That’s what we build. I

Additional thoughts

Every person is unique.

Their history, their family lore, what was allowed in their communities, what they think is “right”, informs the best therapeutic approach for that individual.

We are complex beings. there is no one approach for everyone.

Getting to know you, especially at the beginning, helps support determining this approach. I will be asking you a lot of questions.

What you share with me is important, even what you think might not be worth knowing. How you feel about me is something to be aware of and is always welcome to be discussed in the room.

I invite you to take time to investigate the braveness that brought you to want to start a conversation with another person. I look forward to getting to know you.
